Cultural performances during the Roxbury Unity Day parade deemed to be an eye-gazing experience. From the group leader, Isaura Oliveira: " LIVING EXPERIENCE brought Power of Skirts to the streets for Roxbury Unity Parade 2021. Our skirts are choreographed by Isaura Oliveira, Brasil in partnership with Eli Pabon, Puerto Rico. We came by the beautiful effort of our dance students Olivia Hatten, Charles Murrell III, Cito Colòn, Melissa Huser Cherish Casey, Yyoyo Green, Devi Bayan, Santana DaGraca, Melissa Ros and our elder Queen Akila Stanley and many others who could not be in person. Grateful to my colleagues musicians brothers: Brazilian mestre de capoeira Deraldo Ferreira, master African Drummers Sory Diabate and Joh Camara accompanied of Tiemoko Camara(Joh'son) and Jacques WellsWe were gifted by the presence of precious seven kids: Tiemoko, Maya and Yassi Camara, Dendara and Kizmet Karim, Absiah Casey, and little Laroye."
