The North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) has expanded its open mic night, which started as a virtual event during early COVID-19, to the Boston Public Market in the North End and Castle Island Brewing in South Boston. Hikari Terasawa attended open mic night at Boston Public Market and spoke with NEMPAC’s facilities and operations coordinator about what the night means to him and the community.
